The Main Channels Screen
Channels are managed from the channels link at the very top of Dictator’s admin screen, directly to the right of the pages link.
You might also have noted that each page has it’s own channels link, and these are two different things. For the purposes of this section, we will describe the features found under the main channels link.
When you are in the main channels screen, you will see a list of current channels in your site (if any) along with links to edit them. You will also see a link at the bottom of your screen to add new channel. If you have one or more channels already, you will also see that the tag name is shown with each. Like all tags in Dictator, this tag name is surrounded by curly brackets like {this}. This is the tag that you would type in the text anywhere on your site to bring up the channel.
If you currently have more than one channel, you can drag and drop them to change the order. Note that this is only for convenience as the order is not significant to presentation in your site.
