Editing a Channel

From the Main Channels Screen click the edit button next to the channel you would like to edit. You will be taken to a page showing details about your channel.

The first thing you will see is a list of pages attached to your channel. For each of these pages, you can click the edit link to edit the page directly, you can click the view link to view the page in your site, or you can click the trash icon to remove the page from the channel.

You can change the order in which these pages appear in the channel by dragging and dropping them to the desired order. Unlike the order in the Main Channels Screen this order is significant and affects the order that they show in on your site or in your RSS feed.

The Tag field contains the tag that you will use to refer to this channel in the text of your site (or your HTML templates, for web developers).

The Title contains a short description of what the channel contains. As an example, you might type in “Featured Pages From Our Site”. This title will not appear with the channel except when used as an RSS feed. If you are not syndicating to RSS, then the title is more for your own reference.

The optional Description field is a short description of what the channel contains. Description is only used when syndicating via RSS, but may also be helpful for your own reference.

If this channel is used as an RSS channel, then Yes should be selected for Syndicate RSS. If you are already syndicating the channel with RSS, then you will also see a view link so that you can view the RSS feed. You may need to have an RSS reader installed to properly view the RSS feed.

If you have made any changes when editing your channel, be sure to click save changes.
